Programme

DAY 1 – Friday 14.02.2020 Valentine’s Day

Arrival in Stresa, check in at the hotel and free time at disposal.
Boat transfer from Stresa to Isola Bella. Enjoy a romantic dinner on Isola Bella at RistoLounge Elvezia! A special dinner, with a special person.. in a special location! Special Valentine’s menu prepared with local products, personally selected by Chef Diego.
Let yourself be impressed by the calm winter atmosphere of the island!
Return to Stresa by boat and overnight stay.

DAY 2 – Saturday 15.02.2020

A relaxing day in a SPA!

After breakfast in hotel leave to spend some relaxing moments at Premia Terme or at Bagni Salini & Spa Locarno.
If you want to relax surrounded by a suggestive alpine atmosphere, Terme di Premia is the right choice for you!
Instead, if you prefer to spend a day immersed in curative salt pools, choose the option at Bagni Termali Salini & Spa in Locarno.
Free dinner and overnight stay.

DAY 3 – Sunday 16.02.2020

Breakfast at the hotel and check-out. Before you say goodbye to Lake Maggiore there is time to discover Stresa, also known as “The pearl of Lake Maggiore”. Walk along the lakeside enjoying a spectacular view on the Isole Borromee and the Alps and admire beautiful villas built in liberty style!

Experience the magical atmosphere of Isola Bella by night staying in an exclusive boutique hotel. Enjoy some relaxation in a 5-star Spa and the charm of the Borromean Islands.

PROGRAMME

DAY 1

Arrival Stresa and transfer by motorboat to reach Isola Bella; the romantic and unique setting of the Boutique Hotel Elvezia. Free time at disposal to visit the Borromeo Palace with its majestic baroque garden, with ten terraces overlooking the lake. At the end of the day, when the sun sets and the last boat departs, the island changes appearance: silence falls and in the quiet evening the voices are those of nature and the lights dance on the water’s surface.. An informal dinner at Ristolounge Elvezia on the island awaits.

Overnight stay.

DAY 2

Enjoy breakfast on the terrace as the sun rises on the Borromean Gulf. Afterwards, transfer by boat to Isola Madre for a visit of the palace and lush botanical garden inhabited by peacocks, pheasants and other exotic birds. Next stop is Isola Pescatori with its old fisherman’s village, narrow alleys and charming restaurants.

After lunch (at your own leisure) it’s time for a relaxing afternoon at the Spa of 5-star Grand Hotel des Iles Borromées. Enjoy the indoor pool, Turkish bath, sauna and shiatzu chair.

Afterwards, dinner in the heart of Stresa before returning to Isola Bella.

Overnight stay.

DAY 3

Breakfast in the hotel and check-out. Before you say goodbye to Lake Maggiore we have time for a final visit to one of the most fascinating sights on Lake Maggiore; hermitage Santa Caterina del Sasso, clinging to a rock face like a balcony over the lake. The structure of the building is truly unique, the fusion of three chapels, originally built separately in three different eras. Art and history merge perfectly in this striking natural frame overlooking Stresa and the Borromean Gulf.

Back to Stresa and departure.

PROGRAMME

DAY 1

Arrival in Stresa and check-in at the hotel.

Mountain bike at your disposal to start exploring the area.

Dinner in a gourmet restaurant in the heart of the old town.

Overnight stay.

DAY 2

After breakfast you take your mountain bikes for a nice ride along the lakefront promenade to the Lido di Carciano. From here you take the cable car up to the top of Mount Mottarone – the mountain of the 7 lakes. Enjoy a scenic ride around the top to get the full 360° view before beginning the exhilarating ride downhill to once again reach Stresa.

Lunch at your own leisure.

In the afternoon you will discover the jewels of Lake Maggiore – the Borromean Islands. Visit the Borromeo Palace and garden on Isola Bella and the picturesque Isola Pescatori before returning on dry land.

Dinner at your own leisure and overnight stay.
